Jeffrey Prilliman, Education Manager


Jeff Prilliman is a Kansas native born and raised in Wichita. Was one of the youngest EMT certified in the state of Kansas at age 16.  Worked as a volunteer for civil preparedness and local ambulance services as well as a local transport service.  Graduated from Wichita South High school in 1979 and attended Wichita State University. Jeff began working for Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Service in 1981 and rose to Paramedic Lieutenant.  He began working for a small air medical services unit known as Kansas AirLife in 1985 as a transport Paramedic.  Worked part time for Kansas AirLife which would later be renamed as EagleMed.  Left SCEMS in 1989 to become Police Chief for the City of Mount Hope, KS while remaining involved with local EMS and EagleMed.  Moved to Medicine Lodge, KS with his family in 1995 to work for the Medicine Lodge Police Department and Baber County EMS.

In 1998 Jeff was asked to help start up EagleMed's first helicopter base in Wichita, KS.  He worked both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft as a Flight Paramedic and earned BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS instructor certifications. He also became an instructor for the US Department of Homeland Security.  In 1998 he moved into Education as a Education Coordinator.  He also earned his Nursing degree the same year. In 1999 he was promoted to Education Manager and now heads the EagleMed Education Department.  He oversees and conducts education and training for new employees, conducts and manages current and continuing education for current employees as well as outreach education.

Jeff is currently the longest tenured EagleMed LLC employee, having proudly served both part time and full time for over 30 years!
