We have also leveraged technology to enhance safety in terms of implementing a Night Vision Goggle (NVG) program distinguishing EagleMed as the first major Air Medical Operator in the Midwest to achieve 100% NVG across our entire organization.  Additionally, a portion of our existing fleet and all of the recently purchased EagleMed aircraft include Terrain Awareness and Warning Systems (TAWS) and Traffic & Collision Alert Device (TCAD)/Traffic Collision Alerting System (TCAS) as part of the standard configuration.  Additional standardized technology currently employed or in process of fleet retrofit includes Garmin GPS, Radar Altimeter, & XM Weather; Satellite Tracking System (Sky Connect) & Satellite Communications (SAT Phone); Emergency Locator Transmitter (406-ELT); and Technisonic TDFM (VHF, UHF High & 800 MHz).
